Nolan recorded wins against two ranked opponents over the weekend. Nolan scored a late takedown in the third period to defeat No. 29 DJ Parker of North Dakota State, 3-1, on November 18. Nolan produced a 5-4 upset win over No. 10 Isaiah Salazar of Minnesota on November 20. Nolan escaped with 40 seconds left in the third period to take the lead, and he displayed great defensive skills to fight off a late takedown attempt from Salazar in the third period. Nolan is ranked No. 22 in the nation at 184 pounds, and he will likely ascend in the rankings after his performances this weekend.
