NEW YORK - Columbia won seven of 10 bouts and posted a 24-9 win over visiting Binghamton wrestling (1-6) Friday night at University Gym.
Juniors David White (125), Tyler Deuel (Hwt) and senior Cody Reed (197) won matches for the Bearcats.
White opened the evening with a 6-2 decision, pushing his overall record to 14-6. The host Lions, however, won seven straight bouts to secure the match before Reed and Deuel won the final two contests. Reed posted a 2-1 decision at 197 to bring his season record to 14-8. Deuel continued his winning ways with a 10-3 decision at heavyweight. He is now 5-2 in duals, 16-5 overall.
Binghamton heads to Boston for Sunday's Boston University Duals. The Bearcats will face Brown (noon) and Harvard (2 p.m.) at Case Gym.
