VESTAL, N.Y.- The Binghamton volleyball team travels for two America East matches this weekend. The Bearcats play at New Hampshire on Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m. and then heads to Hartford on Sunday, November 1, for a noon start.Â

BU has a 5-17 record, including a 2-5 America East mark. Last week, Binghamton fell in five sets to Siena on October 22 and then dropped a 3-0 decision at Albany the following day.

Sarah Ngo leads the America East with 744 assists this season. The sophomore has generated 222 digs as well. Freshman
Gabby Alicea paces the team with 230 points and 20 aces.
Megan Burgess, the lone senior on the roster, has scored 199 points this year. In the middle,
Kristella Morina has recorded 76 blocks, while
Bianca Anderson is hitting .258 in 2015.
Kasey Muchnicki has collected 186 digs, including 68 in her first three career starts.

In early October, the Bearcats hosted UNH and Hartford, splitting the matches. BU swept Hartford on October 2. Morina led with 12.5 points and Ngo totaled 26 assists. UNH took a competitive three-game contest on October 4, as Ngo dished out 32 assists. Alicea posted 11.5 points and nine digs, while
Erin Shultz contributed 11 points.

New Hampshire is 15-7 overall and 7-0 in the conference. The Wildcats enter the weekend on a nine-match winning streak, including a sweep of Hartford last weekend. Junior Keelin Severtson leads the league with 9.15 assists per set. She also has an America East-high 40 aces. Madison Lightfoot, a senior, ranks second in the league with 336 digs. Demi Muses leads the team with 275 points, as she is hitting .277 on the season. The Wildcats have won the last two America East titles.

The Hawks are 0-22 this season, with an 0-7 conference record. They were swept by UNH last weekend. Hartford hosts Albany on Friday before welcoming BU. Freshman Paulina Modestow has scored 216 points to lead the team. Astrid Mangual has produced 425 assists, while Paola Llerandi has tallied 226 digs.
