TEMPE, Ariz. – In a game where both teams broke out the bats, Binghamton (4-6) scored eight times in the bottom of the sixth inning and went on to defeat Toledo (4-10) 16-11 in their final game at the Arizona State Tournament. The game marked the third time this season that the Bearcats have scored at least 10 runs.

Caytlin Friis each homered.
Harbaugh delivered the big blow in the sixth inning with a three-run double. Junior first baseman
Taylor Chaffee added a two-run single and Rutherford and Cadogan also knocked in a run each.
Cadogan finished the game 4-for-5 while Harbaugh and sophomore shortstop
Bridget Hunt each scored three runs.
Freshman pitcher
Sarah Miller improved her record to 3-2 with the win. The loss was tagged to Emily Anderson, whose record dropped to 1-4.Â
