The Bearcats are the No. 3 seed for the second year in a row. Stony Brook is the host team and repeat No. 1 seed while Maine is the No. 4 seed and is making its first appearance in the America East Tournament since 2012.

Lisa Cadogan has been the Bearcats leading hitter this year. She ranks second in the America East in batting (.438) has nine home runs and is tied for first place with a school-record 48 RBI. Freshman outfielder
Jessica Rutherford is batting .354 with three home runs and 25 RBI while junior outfielder
Sydney Harbaugh is hitting .347 with six homers and 26 RBI.
The Bearcats went 1-2 against Albany in a three-game series at the Bearcats Sports Complex softball facility April 18-19. The Great Danes won the first two games 8-5 and 13-4 before Binghamton took the finale 11-6. Cadogan hit a team-best .571 (4-for-7) in that series while freshman second baseman
Stephanie Bielec went 5-for-10 (.500) and Harbaugh was 4-for-8 (.500).
Binghamton finished third in the 2011, 2013 and 2014 America East Tournaments.
