WEST POINT, N.Y.- The Binghamton women's tennis team fell, 5-2, at Army West Point in its 2016 spring opener Friday afternoon.
Annie DiMuro and
Agatha Ambrozy both won for the Bearcats in the match held at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

DiMuro, playing at #2 singles, defeated Rugile Valuniate, 6-4 and 6-2. Ambrozy handled Kirby Einck, 6-1 and 6-4, in their #3 singles bout. Army won the other four singles matches in straight sets. The Black Knights also swept the three doubles contests Friday.

BU continues action at West Point tomorrow, facing Sacred Heart at 4 p.m. The Bearcats will face Seton Hall Sunday morning to conclude its weekend at Army.
