STORY LINES

- Binghamton went 24-21 in 2015 and won its first-ever America East championship. All but one player returns from last season's squad.

- Senior infielder Lisa Cadogan was named first-team all-region in 2015 and was joined on the America East All-Conference first team along with senior outfielder Sydney Harbaugh and senior infielder Taylor Chaffee. Sophomore outfielder Jessica Rutherford and sophomore infielder were each named second-team all-conference while sophomore pitcher Sarah Miller was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2015 America East Tournament.

- UC-Santa Barbara went 2-3 at the Arizona Hillenbrand Tournament this past weekend. Sierra Altmeyer hit .647 and was named the Big West Player of the Week.

- Pacific went 3-2 at the LSU Tiger Classic last weekend. Cassidy Gustafson was named the West Coast Conference (WCC) Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 with a 0.50 ERA.

- Arkansas opening its season by going 1-4 at the Texas Classic over the weekend. Stephanie Canfield led the Razorbacks with a .353 batting average and a pair of triples.

- Loyola Marymount went 4-1 at the Grand Canyon University Kickoff Tournament last weekend. Alicia Brown batted a team-best .500 and the Lions as a team hit .355 over the five games.

- Utah Valley State finished 1-4 at the Sportco Kick Off Classic in Las Vegas this past weekend. Dana De La Torre led the Wolverines with a .500 batting average.
