GREENSBORO, N.C. - Host UNC Greensboro hit a two-out, two-run single in the sixth inning to stretch a 3-2 lead and the Spartans (5-1) held off Binghamton baseball (1-5) 5-2 in the second game of a weekend series Saturday afternoon at the UNCG Baseball Complex.
The Bearcats put runners on base in all but two innings but were limited to five hits and struck out 15 times against a pair of UNCG pitchers.
