Jack McKeever and
Steve Schneider of the Binghamton wrestling team will compete at the NCAA Championships March 17-19. The three-day event will be held at Madison Square Garden.

Matt Dernlan has had 10 NCAA qualifiers in his tenure at BU. McKeever is making his second straight appearance at NCAAs, while Schneider, a sophomore, qualified for the first time.

The NCAA Championships features 330 wrestlers competing in New York City. There will be a tournament in each of the ten weight classes, with the championship finals beginning Saturday night. Every match throughout the weekend will be broadcast on ESPN3, with the championship bouts airing on ESPN.

McKeever, a senior, is 23-8 this season. He advanced to NCAAs after placing seventh in the 174-pound division at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championships. The Brookfield, Connecticut, native defeated two NCAA qualifiers this year. McKeever will face #16 Micah Barnes of Nebraska in the first round Thursday.

Schneider, a native of Levittown, New York, has a 24-8 mark this season. The sophomore 184-pounder took sixth at EIWAs. He has faced eight different NCAA qualifiers this season. Schneider is matched up with #9 Mathew Miller of Navy in the first round Thursday. Miller took a 6-1 decision over Schneider on December 5.
