CONWAY, S.C.- The Binghamton women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at Coastal Carolina Monday afternoon. BU returns to the court on Thursday in a neutral site match with South Carolina State.
In Monday's non-conference match at the Coastal Carolina Tennis Complex, the Chanticleers earned the doubles point, as
Annie DiMuro and
Sara Kohtz won their #2 contest, 6-3. Coastal (14-4) claimed wins in the other two bouts, however.
In singles. the hosts won the #1, #5, #6 contests to claim team victory, ending the match.
BU (7-9) will next play South Carolina State on Thursday in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The non-league match is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
