VESTAL, N.Y.- Binghamton volleyball hosts a pair of America East matches this weekend. The Bearcats face Hartford on Friday, September 30, at 7 p.m. and then take on UMass Lowell on Sunday, October 2, at 1 p.m. Both contests will be held at the West Gym.

BU has a 6-8 record, including an 0-1 mark in the conference. It fell, 3-1, to Albany on September 23.
Bailey Walker led the Bearcats with 19 digs, while
Sarah Ngo put up 33 assists and 8 digs.

Hartford is 4-10 overall, having rallied past UMass Lowell last weekend. After falling in the first two games, the Hawks bounced back, winning the next three sets to claim the contest. Astrid Mangual recorded 52 assists and 18 digs on her way to earning America East Setter of the Week honors. Katy Henchy scored 20 points and Paola Llerandi tallied 24 digs.

UMass Lowell has a 5-10 mark coming out of its five-game loss to Hartford. Delaney Mendez compiled 51 assists, while Madi Bell totaled 18.5 points and 19 digs for the River Hawks.

Lauren Kornmann leads Binghamton in scoring with 156 points.
Gaby Alicea is next with 130 points, including a team-high 20 aces. Walker has notched 234 digs and Ngo has dished out 459 assists in 14 outings.

For Hartford, Paulina Modestow leads the way, having posted 196 points. Mangual has collected 472 helpers and Jenna Bridges has 51 total blocks in 2016. Bell paces Lowell with 161.5 points this year. Lindsey Visvardis has logged 215 digs and Mendez has 329 assists. Â
