J.C. Show hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 1:36 left and Binghamton men's basketball (8-4) closed the game with an 11-0 run to rally past Sacred Heart (5-7) 51-48 Sunday afternoon at William H. Pitt Center. The victory extended BU's win streak to seven games - the program's longest in nine years.
Show scored 14 of his game-high 21 points in the second half, when Binghamton rallied from a 10-point deficit to even its road mark at 3-3. The Bearcats trailed 48-40 with 9:16 left before holding the Pioneers scoreless the rest of the way (0-for-13 FG).
Show hit a 3 with 6:37 left to pull BU within five, 48-43. He hit another with 5:27 left to bring the Bearcats within two, 48-46. With 3:02 left, senior forward
Willie Rodriguez followed his own miss and his tip-in tied the game at 48.Â
After Show's go-ahead trey, which gave BU its first lead of the game, neither team scored in the final 1:35. Sacred Heart missed its last chance on a straightaway three attempt with 0:03 remaining.Â
Binghamton limited SHU to just 15 second-half points.Â
The Bearcats trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half after starting the game by missing 8-of-10 shots. They cut their margin to 10, 33-23, at the half.Â

Thomas Bruce had 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks, Rodriguez chipped in seven rebounds and six points and junior guard
Everson Davis added seven boards. Â
Binghamton returns home briefly before heading to Penn State for a first-ever matchup with the Big Ten member Nittany Lions on Tuesday.
