LAS VEGAS, NV. - The Binghamton volleyball team fell to UC Davis 3-0 on Saturday morning at Cox Pavilion. The match marks the Bearcats final competition of the UNLV Invitational.

UC Davis took all three sets (25-14), (25-18) and (25-23).

The Aggies got out to an early lead in the first set and never looked back eventually ending the set with a 25-14 victory. Sarah Ngo posted six assists and three digs in the set.

In the second set, UC Davis again got out to an early lead but Binghamton was able to battle back to gain a 14-12 lead. The Aggies hung tough though, scoring 11 consecutive points to take back the lead. UC Davis ended the match on a kill to make the score 2-0.

The third set was a back and forth battle for both teams. The Aggies got on the board early, but the Bearcats had an answer. The teams went point for point until UC Davis was able to get out in front and score the 24th and 25th point of the set.

Gabby Alicea led the Bearcats with 10 kills while Sarah Ngo posted her second consecutive double-double with 28 assists and 13 digs.

Binghamton is back in action next weekend at the Marist tournament.
