Bearcats head to the Big Apple for EIWA competition

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Binghamton wrestling team hits the road to the Big Apple for EIWA competition this Sunday with a 1 p.m. match against Columbia before heading to the Island for a 6 p.m. match against Hofstra.

Binghamton also saw a strong performance from redshirt freshman Nunzio Crowley, who finished fourth at 174 pounds. Redshirt freshmen Aidan Monteverdi (165), Lou DePrez (184) and Joe Doyle (197) had impressive days at the open as well, where Monteverdi and Doyle finished 3-2 and DePrez (due to tournament rules) finished 4-1.

The Bearcats head into competition this weekend with a 4-4 overall record and 1-0 EIWA record.
