STORY LINES

- Binghamton (13-7, 4-3 AE) won 81-51 over UMBC on Wednesday. Senior center Alyssa James finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds while sophomore guard Kai Moon turned in a 20-point, seven-steal, five assist performance. Senior guard Imani Watkins added 19 points. 

- Watkins continues to lead the America East and ranks No. 12 in the nation with 21.7 points per game. She also is third in the conference in steals (2.5 spg.). James is tops in the America East and third in the nation with 3.9 blocks per game. She is also second in the America East -- and tied at No. 38 in the nation -- in rebounding (9.6 rpg.).  

- As a team, Binghamton leads the conference and is tied for sixth in the nation with 6.7 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also first in the America East in rebounding (40.8 rpg.) and are second in scoring (67.4 ppg.). 

- With 1,901 career points, Watkins ranks second in Binghamton program history and No. 12 in the America East. Bess Greenberg set the program record with 2,024 points from 1997-01. 

- New Hampshire (14-6, 5-2 AE) lost 56-46 to visiting Maine on Wednesday night. Carlie Pogue, who ranks fifth in the America East with 15.1 points per game, finished with a game-high 22 points. As a team, the Wildcats rank first in the conference and No. 13 in the nation in scoring defense (55.1 ppg.). 

- Binghamton leads the all-time series 20-15 but New Hampshire has won the past four meetings. Most recently, the Wildcats won 63-61 at the Events Center back on Jan. 10. Watkins led the Bearcats with 20 points. At Lundholm Gym, the Bearcats most recent win was a 55-42 triumph on Feb. 23, 2013.
