VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton Athletic Department held several events in conjunction with Binghamton University's 2018 Homecoming Weekend, which was held Oct. 5-7.

On Friday night, the Athletic Department held its Sixth Annual Alumni Networking Panel. Coordinated by both the Varsity Club and the Student Athlete Success Center (SASC), the event featured five alumni athlete panelists who spoke to current senior student-athletes about making the transition to life after college.

This year's panelists included Bryan Arnault (Class of 2007), Neal Roher (Class of 1980), Justin Leskow (Class of 2009), Ali Castiglie (Class of 2011) and Dr. Jen Wegmann (Class of 1994).

Five Binghamton athletic programs held their annual alumni games during the weekend – men's lacrosse, women's soccer and women's lacrosse, women's basketball and men's tennis.

On Saturday afternoon, the 11th Annual Homecoming Tailgate was held in the parking lot of the Events Center. The Varsity Club, which is open to all former Bearcat and Colonial athletes, had a tent welcoming all former alums back to campus.

This year, the results of the Third Annual Alumni Giving Challenge were announced at the Tailgate – with the men's lacrosse team being honored for highest percentage of alumni participation among all Binghamton athletic programs. In addition, the wrestling team was recognized for having the highest number of donors among all Bearcat programs.

The Homecoming Tailgate preceded the men's soccer team's game against Stony Brook, which was a battle for first place in the America East. The men's soccer team received a sendoff from the tailgate before the match. Click here to view the video of the sendoff.

Also in action at home this weekend was women's soccer (vs. UMass Lowell on Sunday) and volleyball (vs. UMass Lowell on Friday and vs. New Hampshire on Sunday).
