VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton Division of Athletics has announced the hiring of Ericka Marano as its Manager of Game Day Experience. She will oversee game-day promotions and entertainment, strategies to increase fan and student attendance, and support marketing, ticket sales, corporate partnerships, and community events. She will also manage game-day staff, the Jr. Bearcat Club, and Baxter, Binghamton's mascot.
Marano has worked with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies AA Baseball team since 2023 in a similar role. "We are extremely excited to have Ericka join the Division of Athletics and our external team," Associate Director of Athletics Pat Murphy said. "Ericka brings a wealth of knowledge and familiarity of the local market which will enhance all of our marketing and promotional efforts"
"I'm incredibly excited to step into the role of Manager of Game Day Experience and be a part of the Binghamton Athletics team," Marano said. "I look forward to creating an engaging atmosphere for all fans from the moment they enter the gate until the last whistle."
A 2022 graduate of Muskingum University (located in New Concord Ohio), Marano spent the summer after her junior year interning with the Lake Erie Crushers of the National Association for Professional Baseball. She assisted with the team's pre- and post-game promotions and also planned and executed a pair of its promotional days.
