STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (2-2) lost 86-49 at Ohio on Thursday morning. Junior guard Carly Boland led the Bearcats with 12 points while junior guard Kai Moon scored nine points. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody finished with eight points and seven rebounds.
 
- Moon leads the Bearcats with 11.3 points per game while Carmody is averaging 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest. Boland, meanwhile, has blocked 1.3 shots per game. 
 
- Caldwell (0-1) lost 62-53 to East Stroudsburg on Tuesday night in its season opener. Andie Lennon led three players in double figures with 19 points. The Cougars went 24-7 during the 2017-18 season and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
 
- This marks the first-ever meeting between Binghamton and Caldwell in women's basketball.
 
- Caldwell is coached by Torey Northup-Jones, who was an assistant coach at Binghamton from 2014-17. In addition, former Binghamton head coach Linda Cimino (2014-18) was the head coach at Caldwell from 2006-14.
 
- Binghamton's game against Caldwell marks the first of a season-high four straight home games. The last time the Bearcats played four straight home games was from Feb. 11-24, 2016.
