VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton men's basketball (2-5) welcomes Hartwick (4-3) to the Events Center for the first of seven games in the month of December. It will be the 47th meeting all-time between the two schools. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Despite opening the season without the top shot blocker in the America East (
Thomas Bruce), BU has racked up 51 blocks through seven games and ranked first in the entire nation leading up to the Army game (7.7/game), ahead of Duke (7.3) and Gonzaga (6.7). The team is currently No. 2 in the nation (7.3). Â Â
Sessoms named America East Rookie of Week for second time
Freshman guard
Sam Sessoms earned his second America East Rookie of the Week honor in three weeks (Nov. 12, Nov. 26) after averaging 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in games against Colgate and Sacred Heart. He ranks ninth in the nation in freshman scoring (18.0 ppg.) and is fourth in the America East in overall scoring. He has scored 19 points in three consecutive games.Â
Barnard registers first double-double of season for Bearcats
Senior forward
Chancellor Barnard turned his 26 minutes against Colgate into his first career double-double. The graduate transfer had 11 points (4-of-6 FG) and a career-high 11 rebounds. He also added a pair of blocks.
Anyichie takes advantage of minutes to post double-digit boards
Freshman 6-foot-9 forward
Calistus Anyichie saw a season-high 26 minutes against Northwestern and turned it into a team-best 10 rebounds, four blocks, four points, two assists and two steals.Â
