VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton men's basketball (3-7) faces first-time opponent Youngstown State (3-8) on Saturday afternoon in the team's final home game of the 2018 calendar year. The teams will tip at 2 p.m. at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center in a game broadcast on ESPN+.Â

Sam Sessoms earned his third America East Rookie of the Week honor in six weeks (Nov. 12, Nov. 26, Dec. 10) after averaging 21.0 points on 50 percent shooting in games against Morgan State and Loyola.Â
Bearcats will play LIU in Barclays Center on Dec. 21
Binghamton has an upcoming three-pack of games in prominent venues. In between games at Notre Dame (Dec. 18) and No. 5 Michigan (Dec. 30), BU will now play its road game against LIU on Dec. 21 at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets. Barclays opened in 2012 and holds 19,000 for basketball. Â

J.C. Show and
Caleb Stewart are marching toward the 1K mark for their scoring careers. Show, who played his first collegiate season at Bucknell, currenty sits at 943 points. Stewart played single seasons at South Carolina-Aiken and Saint Leo before finishing his last two seasons at Binghamton. He has 845 career points. Â
