Bearcats and Broncs square off Saturday at noon

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (5-4) lost 79-72 at Niagara on Wednesday night. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds while sophomore forward Olivia Ramil finished with career highs in points (13) and rebounds (14). Also netting a career-high 13 points were sophomore forward Kaylee Wasco and freshman guard Hayley Moore. Junior guard Carly Boland, meanwhile, finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
 
- Carmody leads the team and ranks eighth in the America East with 14.1 points per game. She is also first in the conference in rebounding (8.1 rpg.) and ninth in steals (1.7 spg.). Boland is second in the America East in blocks (1.7 bpg.) and eighth in assists (2.8 apg.).
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are second in the America East in blocks (4.2 bpg.) and rebounding (38.3 rpg.). Binghamton is also third in scoring (63.7 ppg.) and free throw percentage (.733).
 
- Rider (3-5) lost 66-60 to visiting Navy on Sunday. Stella Johnson, who leads the Broncs with 20.1 points per game, finished with 14 points against the Midshipmen. For the season, Johnson also leads the squad with 5.1 assists, 1.1 blocks and 3.0 steals per game. 
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Rider 3-2. Most recently, the visiting Bearcats took a 76-54 decision on Dec. 21, 2017. Carmody was one of five Binghamton players in double figures with 11 points.  At the Events Center, the series is tied at 1-1 with the Bearcats having last won 72-67 back on Dec. 21, 2014.
