Natchitoches, La. - Northwestern State (2-0) scored runs in five of the first seven innings and toppled Binghamton baseball (0-2) 9-1 Saturday afternoon at Brown-Stroud Field.Â
The hosts used single runs in the second, third and fifth innings to build a lead and then broke the game open with two runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh. The Bearcats were limited to four hits and a lone run in the seventh inning.Â
