WEST POINT, N.Y. - Binghamton women's tennis (1-3) earned its first win of the spring with a 6-1 victory over Sacred Heart (1-3) Saturday afternoon at Army's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Bearcats captured the doubles point and then won five of the six singles matches.Â
"We played each match point by point," head coach
Libby McGovern said. "They put up a good fight but we were able to continue and build upon our high level of play from yesterday. It was a team effort to get the first win of the season."

Samara Eisenberg rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 victory and junior
Maria Pandya kept up her strong play with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 - her second straight win.Â
The Bearcats next host Quinnipiac Feb. 17Â at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
