STORY LINES

- Binghamton (13-23, 6-9 AE) lost 8-7 to Albany on Wednesday in its first game at the upgraded Bearcats Sports Complex. Senior outfielder Jessica Rutherford, who leads the team with a .392 batting average, went 3-for-5 in the game. Freshman shortstop Mikayla Alvarez homered, drove in a pair of runs and scored three times.

- Hartford (10-29, 0-15 AE) split a doubleheader against Army. The Hawks won the opener 3-1 but dropped the nightcap 8-3. Lily Sencer leads Hartford with a .336 batting average while Danielle Rocheleau is hitting .330.

- Senior third baseman Kate Richard leads Binghamton with seven home runs and 28 RBI. Alvarez has four home runs while sophomore pitcher/designated player Rozlyn Price has five home runs and 19 RBI.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Hartford 32-15, having won the past 12 meetings. The Bearcats are a perfect 6-0 against the Hawks at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

- Prior to Saturday's noon finale, the Bearcats will hold their annual Senior Day Ceremony. This year's graduating class includes Rutherford, Richard, outfielder Carrie Maniccia and infielders Stephanie Bielec and Jill Bovitt.
