Women's tennis loses at Temple 5-0

Bearcats open spring season, next play Sunday at Cornell

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - In an abbreviated season-opening dual, host Temple (2-1) won the lone doubles match and all four singles matches to post a 4-0 victory over Binghamton women's tennis (0-1) in BU's season opener Saturday night at the Legacy Tennis Center.

Junior No. 1 Samara Eisenberg had the tightest match, winning the first set against Ruoyu Chen before falling in three.

The Bearcats return to the Southern Tier to face Cornell at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Reis Tennis Center in Ithaca.
