Women's tennis falls to Cornell 6-1

Top singles player Samara Eisenberg posts three-set win for Bearcats' lone point

ITHACA, N.Y. - Host Cornell (2-0) took the doubles point and won five of the six singles matches to defeat Binghamton women's tennis (0-2) 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center.

Junior No. 1 Samara Eisenberg earned BU's victory with a 5-7, 6-3, 10-6 win over Katherine Nguyn.

The Bearcats play three matches next weekend at Army beginning with a Friday afternoon tilt against the host Black Knights.
