Women’s Basketball Travels to New Hampshire

Bearcats and Wildcats Tip Off Saturday at 1 p.m.

STORY LINES
 
- Binghamton (5-9, 0-1 AE) lost 61-56 at Albany in its America East opener on Wednesday night. Senior forward Rebecca Carmody scored a game-high 22 points and added a game-best 11 rebounds to record her third double-double of the season. Freshman guard Hayley Moore finished with 11 points to reach double figures for the second straight game.
 
- Carmody ranks eighth in the conference with 12.9 points per game, is second in rebounding (7.3 rpg.) and tied for eighth in assists (2.6 apg.). Junior guard Carly Boland is tied for fifth in the America East with 1.2 blocks per game.
 
- As a team, the Bearcats are second in the America East in blocks (3.86 bpg.) and third in rebounding (37.0 rpg.). Binghamton is also third in free throw percentage (.682).
 
- New Hampshire (3-11, 0-1 AE) lost 67-46 at defending America East champion Maine on Wednesday night. Ashley Storey scored a game-high 20 points for the Wildcats.
 
- For the season, Storey ranks second in the conference with 17.0 points per game. She is also sixth in rebounding (6.1) and tied for fifth in both blocks (1.2 bpg.) and steals (2.0 spg.).
 
- Binghamton leads the all-time series 21-15. Last year, the two teams split the season series. The Wildcats won 63-61 at the Events Center on Jan. 10 but the Bearcats got even with a 54-52 win at Lundholm Gym on Jan. 27.
