VESTAL, N.Y. – Senior guard Kai Moon scored a game-high 21 points and fellow senior guard Carly Boland added 16 points, pacing Binghamton (3-0) to a 70-45 win over Bloomsburg (0-0) in a non-conference women's basketball game on Tuesday night at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center. With the victory, the Bearcats are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since the 1998-99 season.

Moon was 8-for-16 from the field, including 5-for-9 from beyond the three-point arc. She now has 954 career points, which ties Alicia Koppenhoefer for 19th place all-time in Binghamton program history.

Boland, meanwhile, finished 6-for-10 from the field and was 4-for-7 from three-point range. She also grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists.

The Bearcats reached the 70-point mark for the third time in as many games. They went 28-for-62 from the field (45.2 percent) and drained nine of 18 three-point shots (50 percent).

Binghamton managed to get all 13 of its active players in the game for at least six minutes. Freshman forward Clare Traeger turned in career highs in both points (six) and rebounds (seven).

"It was good tonight because everyone got an opportunity to play," head coach Bethann Shapiro Ord said. "My seniors stepped up as usual and did a great job in leading the team. We also had some people come off the bench and do well."

Sophomore forward Annie Ramil grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with eight points. Also netting eight points was junior forward Kaylee Wasco, who also grabbed five rebounds.

McKenna Hayward led Bloomsburg with 11 points.

Binghamton concludes its three-game home stand against Niagara on Saturday at 2 p.m.
