Baseball nipped by Old Dominion 2-1 in series opener

Franchi goes 2-for-4 but Bearcats held to five hits in pitchers' duel

NORFOLK, Va. -- Binghamton (0-4) was defeated 2-1 in the first game of a non-conference series on Friday afternoon.

Daniel Franchi led the Bearcats with a pair of hits, going 2-for-4 in the process.

The two teams continue their series on Saturday at 2 p.m.
