- Binghamton (4-5) last competed at the South Florida Invitational March 1-3. Sophomore shortstop
Makayla Alvarez leads the Bearcats in batting (.310), home runs (two) and is tied for the team lead with seven RBI. Sophomore outfielder

- James Madison (11-5) is currently ranked No. 22 in the NFCA/USA Today Top 25 poll. The Dukes won four out of their five games at the Arizona State Invitational last weekend. Sara Jubas is batting a team-best .529 while Kate Gordon has belted eight home runs.
- James Madison leads the all-time series against Binghamton 8-1. Most recently, the Dukes won 8-0 on Feb. 18, 2017 at the Michele Smith Pediatric Tournament, which was held in Clearwater, Fla. The Bearcats' win in the series was a 5-4 triumph on March 16, 2002 at the James Madison Invitational.
- The 2017 game against James Madison also marks the last time that Binghamton has faced a nationally-ranked opponent. The Dukes were No. 14 in that week's USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll.
- Rutgers (12-9) went 2-0 last weekend at the East Tennessee Buccaneer Classic. Jess Hughes is hitting a team-best .414 with four home runs and 14 RBI. Anyssa Iliopoulos has a .367 batting average with five home runs and 24 RBI.
- This will mark the first-ever meeting between Binghamton and Rutgers in softball.
- St. Joseph's (7-7) went 1-5 at the South Florida/Clearwater Park and Recreation Showcase Tournament last week. Sarah Ostazewski leads the Hawks with a .408 batting average while Molly Kapala has driven in a team-best nine runs.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against St. Joseph's 2-0. Most recently, the Bearcats won 8-3 on Feb. 27, 2016 at the James Madison Invitational.
- Morgan State (4-11) took four out of its five games at the Hampton Tournament last weekend. Haylee Bobos leads the Bears with a .444 batting average, has homered once and is tied for the team lead with nine RBI.
- This will mark the first-ever meeting between Binghamton and Morgan State in softball.
