KENNESAW, Ga. - Host Kennesaw State (12-9) scored the final seven runs of the game to defeat Binghamton (6-8) 10-1 Tuesday night at Stillwelll Baseball Stadium. The Atlantic Sun member Owls extended their win streak to six and dealt the Bearcats just their second loss in the last seven games.  
The Owls led 3-1 and then plated two runs in the bottom of the fifth and five decisive runs in the sixth. The hosts outhit BU 13-4. 
The Bearcats, who got half their hits in the ninth inning, struck out 11 times and left eight men stranded.  
Binghamton scored its lone run in the fifth inning. Trailing 3-1 with one out, junior third baseman 
Justin Drpich singled and sophomore shortstop 
Jake Evans drew a walk. Both runners advanced on a wild pitch. Junior catcher 
TJ Wegmann then hit a sacrifice fly to left, scoring Drpich. 
Drpich went 2-for-4 to pace the offense.

Luke Dziados (L, 0-1) struck out six in 4.0 innings. 
The teams finish off the abbreviated two-game set at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
