VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton Women's Lacrosse team (0-11, 0-2 AE) lost 19-8 at home today to UAlbany (6-5, 2-0 AE). Rebecca Golderman recorded her third hat trick of the season, while Paige Volkmann added two assists for a team-high eight in 2019.

"Albany is a very good team and came out to battle today," head coach Stephanie Allen said. "We just weren't able to stop the runs. We will definitely be focused on winning extra opportunities and draw possessions as we head into our match up Wednesday against UMBC."

Highlights

• Amelia Biancardi's 11th goal in the last five games put Binghamton on the board first at 25:43 before Rebecca Golderman increased the Bearcats lead 2-0 shortly after.
• Albany scored the next five goals to jump ahead 5-2 before Olivia Batista converted Paige Volkmann's team-leading eighth assist of the season to respond for the Bearcats.
• Volkmann scored her 10th goal of the season 30 seconds later to cut the deficit 5-4 for Bingahmton.
• The Great Danes scored five of the next six goals to take a 10-5 lead into halftime
• Rebecca Golderman opened the second half scoring by completing her third hat trick of the season.
• UAlbany's Kyla Zapolski completed her hat trick to start off a 7-0 run for the Great Danes in the second half.
• Binghamton last two goals of the game came from Kelly Quinn's sixth goal of the year, followed up by Sidra Morchower's second career tally.
