Women’s Lacrosse Suffers Overtime Loss at UMBC

Golderman leads the way with 5 points, Passuelo makes 9 saves

BALTIMORE, M.D. - The Binghamton women's lacrosse team (0-12, 0-3 AE) lost 10-9 in overtime to UMBC (4-9, 2-1 AE) on Wednesday. Rebecca Golderman tallied 5 points on the day (2 G, 3 A) while Paige Volkmann recorded 3 points (2 G, 1 A). Golderman now has a team high in goals (18) and points (24).

"Today was a heartbreaker," head coach Stephanie Allen said. "Our team competed extremely hard and put ourselves in a position to win at the end," head coach Stephanie Allen said. "UMBC was able to execute in a high pressure situation as the clock ticked down and was able to feed off of similar game situations they've been in this season. This is a group of fighters and their resiliency hasn't been lost."
