Rozlyn Price recorded the Bearcats' victory, firing a two-hit shutout on Saturday and belting a two-run home run. Sophomore first baseman
Alex Guay drove in a career-best four runs in that same game.
- Freshman second baseman
Marissa Braito leads the team in batting (.338). She also ranks seventh in the America East in on-base percentage (.446), eighth in hits (26) and is tied for eighth in runs scored (16). In addition, Braito is tied for second in the conference with three triples. Sophomore first baseman
Alex Guay is tied for seventh with 17 RBI.
- On the mound, junior pitcher
Rayn Gibson is second in the America East with 60 strikeouts and fifth in opposing batting average (.245). She is also sixth with five victories. Sophomore
Chelsea Howard, meanwhile, is tied for first in the conference with a pair of saves.
- Colgate (12-16) split a doubleheader against Albany on Saturday, dropping the first game 8-2 before winning the nightcap 4-1. Megan Romero leads the Raiders in batting (.371) while Jordan Miller has a team-best four home runs and 19 RBI.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Colgate 19-11. Most recently, the two teams split a doubleheader in Hamilton on April 2, 2018. The Bearcats took the first game 5-4 but lost the nightcap 3-1. Including last season, Binghamton and Colgate have split their last four doubleheaders (2014, 2016 & 2017).
