- Binghamton (14-18, 3-5 AE) was swept in a doubleheader on Tuesday by Albany 13-5 and 7-4. Junior catcher Sarah Herskowitz hit a team-best .714 with three doubles and a three-run home run. In the nightcap, her three doubles tied the single-game school record. Sophomore third baseman

- UMass Lowell (17-12, 5-0 AE) swept Hartford 10-6 and 6-5 on Wednesday to remain tied for first place in the America East. Courtney Cashman ranks first in the nation with a .552 batting average. She also ranks second in the conference in both home runs (eight) and RBI (26).
- The series between Binghamton and UMass Lowell is tied at 7-7. Last year, the River Hawks swept all three games at home April 21-22 by scores of 3-2, 2-1 and 6-0. UMass Lowell also took two out of three games at the Bearcats Sports Complex April 15-16. The Bearcats' last series victory was a three-game sweep in Lowell Match 26-27, 2016.
