In the first match, Delaware took an early lead, but Binghamton fought back nicely to tie the opening set up at 15 and 16 all. Delaware then proceeded to go on a 9-1 run to take the opening frame.

Elizabeth Kaner registered 12 digs to lead the team and Francela Ulate and Audrey Haworth had five and four kills respectively.

The Bearcats had a more competitive matchup with the Mountaineers, who finished the tournament undefeated. The team trailed early in the first set and stayed within close reach until West Virginia scored the last four points to put it away in the opening set.

The final two sets saw the Bearcats go toe-to-toe with the Mountaineers. Binghamton trailed early in the second and mounted a comeback only to fall a few points short. The final set showed promise, as the Bearcats opened up a lead and kept it for a majority of the frame. West Virginia erased a four point deficit to take this one, 25-21.

The Bearcats had a balanced effort offensively, with Ulate registering nine kills followed by Tyra Wilson and Victoria Keghlian with seven kills each. Kim Lavender handed out 17 assists to lead Binghamton.
