VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton Athletic Department held several events in conjunction with Binghamton University's 2019 Homecoming Weekend, which was held Sept. 20-22.

On Friday night, the Athletic Department held its Seventh Annual Alumni Networking Panel. Coordinated by both the Varsity Club and the Student Athlete Success Center (SASC), the event featured five alumni athlete panelists who spoke to current senior student-athletes about making the transition to life after college.

This year's panelists included Julie Chambers (Class of 2012), Mikala Ferry (Class of 2014), Kieran Gibbons (Class of 1986) and Brian Lindsay (Class of 2005).

Four Binghamton athletic programs held their annual alumni games during the weekend – men's lacrosse, women's soccer and women's lacrosse and men's tennis.

On Saturday afternoon, the 12th Annual Homecoming Tailgate was held in the parking lot of the Events Center. The Varsity Club, which is open to all former Bearcat and Colonial athletes, had a tent welcoming all former alumni athletes back to campus.

The Homecoming Tailgate preceded the men's soccer team's game against Monmouth, which ended in a scoreless tie. The men's soccer team received a sendoff from the tailgate before the match. Click here to view the video of the sendoff.

Homecoming weekend was capped off by a huge win from the women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon. With their 3-2 win over Vermont in their America East opener, the Bearcats are now 7-2-1 this season. At home, they are a perfect 5-0-0. Click here to read the recap.
