VESTAL, N.Y. -- With the 2020-21 season ready to tip off, the Binghamton women's basketball team held their annual preseason media day on Tuesday afternoon at the Events Center. Head coach Bethann Shapiro Ord and sophomore guard Denai Bowman reflected on the road the team has been on since the COVID-19 pandemic began, talked about how the team has grown during the recent months and expressed excitement for finally launching their season.

Binghamton hosts Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Events Center.  The game will air live on ESPN+.

While the Bearcats have yet to play this season, the Knights dropped a 70-44 decision to St. John's on Saturday in their first game of the year.

The Bearcats lead the all-time series against Fairleigh Dickinson 4-2, having won the past three meetings. Last year, Binghamton took a 60-48 road decision on Nov. 23, 2019.
