OLEAN, N.Y. - The Binghamton University women's tennis team fell 4-3 to St. Bonaventure in a road matchup Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats won three singles matches, but could not clinch the doubles point despite close matches.
Junior Michelle Eisenberg paired with senior Samara Eisenberg came close to a win in doubles but ultimately lost 7-6.
The three points were collected by M. Eisenberg, sophomore Regina Furer, and junior Ashley Granieri. Furer and Granieri won in three sets. Granieri was able to rebound from a 6-0 loss in the first set and won 6-0, 6-4 in the final two.
The Bearcats compete at home against Eastern Michigan University Thursday at 11 A.M.
