VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton volleyball team fell to New Hampshire in three sets Friday evening. Despite double digit kills by Victoria Erwat and Stefana Stan, the Bearcats ended on the losing side of a 21-25, 23-25, 21-25 line.

Kiara Adams handed out 29 assists on the night, adding nine assists and three aces. Emily Rail added 10 digs.

The Bearcats took an early lead in the first set, but a UNH run in the middle of the frame gave the visitors a lead. The Bearcats scored four of the set's final six points, but it wasn't enough in the 25-21 loss.

The Wildcats opened a large lead in the second set, before Binghamton went on an 8-2 run to trim the deficit to 17-15. BU kept it close the remainder of the set, but fell 25-23.

The third set remained tight throughout, but an early UNH run made the difference in the outcome. A kill by Adams and a ball-handling error by New Hampshire made closed the gap to 21-19, but the visitors eventually closed out the match, 25-21.

Binghamton will close out its home schedule Sunday with a matchup against NJIT. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
