VESTAL, N.Y. – Once again in 2021-22, Binghamton basketball fans across the country can follow the Bearcats all season long on Townsquare Media radio stations. All home and away regular season and playoff games for the men's and women's basketball teams will be broadcast live on Townsquare stations WNBF News Radio 1290 and WYOS CBS Sports Radio 1360, the department announced Tuesday.

"We are excited to continue our partnership with Townsquare Media and provide our fans, both local and across the country, full audio coverage of all home and away games this season," Interim Director of Athletics Dennis Kalina said. "With familiar local voices Roger Neel and Jacob Wilkins calling all the action, Bearcat fans can look forward to keeping up with our men's and women's basketball teams all season long. Not only will the Townsquare radio stations offer play-by-play throughout the regular season and playoffs, but will also include analysis and behind-the-scenes features and interviews with our student-athletes and coaches. We think fans will really enjoy following our teams and getting inside-the-huddle access."   

Townsquare has been broadcasting BU basketball games for more than two decades and anchoring the men's coverage again in 2021-22 is Hall of Fame play-by-play announcer Roger Neel. Binghamton baseball announcer Jacob Wilkins will call all the women's action. Neel will be starting his 23^rd season of BU basketball coverage while veteran play-by-play announcer Wilkins will begin his first season calling the women's action.

"Our sports fans and loyal listeners will enjoy full coverage from November to March across our platform of stations. We also know that local fans of BU basketball will appreciate hearing the familiar voices of Roger Neel and Jacob Wilkins as they provide expert analysis and up-close coverage of the Bearcats at home and on the road."

Fans will hear their first inside coverage of both teams when WNBF hosts the Preseason Show at 6 p.m. on Nov. 3. Neel and Wilkins will discuss the upcoming season and break down the Bearcat rosters, schedules and America East outlook with men's coach Levell Sanders and women's coach Bethann Shapiro Ord.

Binghamton men's games will air on WNBF and free online at wnbf.com/listen-live/. The women's games will be broadcast on either WNBF or WYOS, where fans can also listen online at 1360binghamton.com/listen-live/. Both station aps can be downloaded on IOS and Android devices.
