STORY LINES

- Binghamton (2-2) lost 63-55 to St. Bonaventure on Saturday at the Events Center. Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir led the Bearcats with 14 points while junior guard Denai Bowman finished with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal.

- Bowman and junior forward Clare Traeger are tied for seventh in the America East with 13.0 points per game. Traeger is also third in the conference with 8.0 rebounds per game. In addition, Bowman is tied for second with 2.5 steals per game, ranks fifth with 4.0 assists per game is tied for third with 1.0 blocks per game.

- Mansfield (1-2) defeated Nyack 59-50 on Saturday. Sydney Reed scored a game-high 17 points while Jasmine Hilton added 14 points.

- Paige Whitfield leads Mansfield with 12.0 points and 2.3 assists per game. Hilton is pulling down a team-best 7.7 rebounds per contest.

- Binghamton and Mansfield meet for the first time since the Bearcats moved up to the NCAA Division I level in 2001. The Mounties, who compete at the Division II level, lead the all-time series 8-3. The Bearcats, however, won the most recent regular-season matchup 73-43 at the West Gym back on Nov. 23, 1999.
