VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton wrestling team welcomes Buffalo to the Events Center Sunday afternoon, as the two will battle in a dual beginning at 4:30 p.m. The matchup is the second leg of a doubleheader with men's basketball.
For both of the events, kids 12 & under will get free admission courtesy of Dunkin Donuts. Any tickets that are purchased for the basketball game will be valid for both events. To purchase tickets online, click here. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.Â

Binghamton fell to Stanford 25-13 last Sunday. Dimitri Gamkreilidze, Jacob Nolan and Lou DePrez led the way for BU with victories.

DePrez, who has wrestled up at 197 pounds this season, leads the way for Binghamton with a 6-0 record. He already has a Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open title under his belt, and a win over a ranked Nick Stemmet of Stanford (No. 26).

Brevin Cassella, Binghamton's other Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open champion, is set to return to the 165-pound weight class this weekend. He is 6-3 on the young season, having suffered a tight loss to 174-pound Tyler Eischens (No. 30) of Stanford last weekend.

No. 28 Nolan continued his strong start to the season, winning by major decision over Judah Duhm in his last bout. He is 8-1 on the year, with his only loss coming to No. 9 Chris Foca of Cornell at the Bearcat Open.

Anthony Sobotker and Nick Lombard each have five wins on the season. All five of Sobotker's wins have come by fall, including an emphatic pin over Rutgers' No. 12 Sammy Alvarez.

Joe Doyle went 1-1 with a pin at the Rutgers quad meet to kick off the season, and he is set to return Sunday against Toby Cahill.

Buffalo has started the season at 0-3, with all three losses coming against ranked opponents.

In its most recent dual against No. 4 Michigan, Cahill had the team's lone victory at heavyweight.

133-pounder Derek Spann has been consistently strong for the Bulls over the past four years. The graduate student is 66-28 for his career and is a former NCAA qualifier.
