TEANECK, N.J. – Sierra DeAngelo scored a game-high 16 points, pacing Fairleigh Dickinson (3-4) to a 63-40 win over Binghamton (3-3) in a non-conference women's basketball game on Wednesday night at the Rothman Center. The game marked the Bearcats' first contest of the year away from the Events Center.
Rothman was 6-for-12 from the field and sank all three of her free throws. She also finished with a game-high nine rebounds.
Junior forward
Birna Benonysdottir led the Bearcats with 15 points, going 6-for-13 from the field and swishing both of her free throw attempts. Junior guard
Denai Bowman added 12 points to go along with five rebounds and a pair of steals.
While the host Knights shot 44 percent from the field (24-of-55), Binghamton shot just 27 percent (15-for-55). Fairleigh Dickinson also made 11 of its 13 free throw attempts (85 percent).

Clare Traeger finished the game with eight rebounds.
Binghamton heads to Lehigh on Saturday for a 2 p.m. game.
