The Binghamton University Volleyball team travels to West Hartford, CT on Wednesday for an America East conference doubleheader against the University of Hartford. The first match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., and will be followed by the nightcap at 6 p.m. The two teams were scheduled to face off on February 28 before COVID-19 protocol delayed the two sides' season opener.

Francela Ulate continues to pace the offense with 46 kills and added a career-high five service aces in the match against UMBC Sunday.

Tyra Wilson dominated at the net against the Retrievers, recording 10 kills to go along with five blocks. Ulate, Wilson, and Anna Sprys are all currently Top 10 in the America East in blocks per set.

Elizabeth Kaner has 21 digs in six sets played, good enough for tenth place in the conference.
Hawks start the season with sweep

The Hawks begin the season at 2-0 after winning both matches in a doubleheader against NJIT over the weekend. Abby Nash led the way for the Hawks with 32 kills over the two contests.

Setter Meghan Anderson has handed out 81 assists thus far, and freshman Uzezi Ijoma recorded 22 kills in her first collegiate action.

Hartford took both matchups against the Bearcats a season ago, taking the first one in four sets and the season finale in three.
