Women’s Tennis Prepares for Road Trip this Weekend

Bearcats Will Take on Temple Saturday afternoon, Siena Sunday night

VESTAL, NY- The Binghamton women's tennis team embarks on a short road trip this weekend for two matches. The Bearcats travel south to Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon to take on Temple University, before heading to Loudonville, N.Y. on Sunday to face off with Siena College. The match with the Owls begins at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, and the start time on Sunday against the Saints is 6 p.m.

The Bearcats were defeated by St. Bonaventure in their opening match of the 2021 season last Saturday.

Michelle Eisenberg will look to lead the Bearcats, after winning six matches last year at first singles.

A Bird's Eye View of the Owls
Temple enters Saturday's meeting with a 4-1 record, and riding a three-match winning streak. They defeated Villanova 4-3 on Saturday thanks to a strong performance in their singles matches.

Scouting Siena
The Saints have a 0-1 record on the season. They were defeated by UCONN, 5-2, in their only match two weekends ago.
