- Binghamton (7-11, 3-8 AE) dropped a 4-0, 3-1 doubleheader on Wednesday at Fordham. Senior shortstop
Makayla Alvarez and sophomore outfielder
Jillian Fittry each went 2-for-6 during the day. The Bearcats' last conference games took place at home against Maine the weekend of April 17-18 with the Black Bearcats taking three of the four contests.
- As a team, Binghamton ranks third in the America East with a 3.33 ERA. That is on track to be its best ERA since compiling a 2.86 mark in 2017.
- Junior second baseman
Marissa Braito is batting .316 so far this season while Alvarez has a .306 batting average with two home runs and seven RBI. In addition, Alvarez carries a team-best, five-game hitting streak going to the series against UMass Lowell.
- UMass Lowell (9-12, 5-5 AE) was swept by Stony Brook on Wednesday by scores of 2-1 and 3-2. Christina Rizzi led the River Hawks by going 3-for-6 at the plate (.500).
- Rizzi is batting a team-best .393 with a pair of home runs and 14 RBI. Courtney Cashman is hitting .383 and ranks first on the River Hawks with seven home runs and 17 RBI.

- UMass Lowell leads the all-time series 11-7, having taken the last 10 meetings. Most recently, the River Hawks won a 4-3, eight-inning elimination game at the 2019 America East Tournament. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 6-3 decision at Lowell on March 27, 2016.
