Women’s Tennis Prepares for Weekend Road Matches

Face Stony Brook Friday, Colgate Sunday

VESTAL, NY- The Binghamton women's tennis team (0-3) begins a short stint away from home this weekend. The Bearcats travel to Stony Brook to face the Seawolves on Friday at 2 pm, then head to Colgate for a Sunday matchup with the Raiders at 12 pm. 

Binghamton was defeated by Siena College in their last match two weekends ago. 

Scouting the Seawolves
-Stony Brook enters this weekend with a 4-2 record, coming off of a 5-2 victory against UCONN in their first home match of the Season
-Seawolves players have a 16-8 combined record in their singles matches this year.  
-Stony Brook was victorious in the last matchup with Binghamton in 2019, defeating the Bearcats by a score of 7-0.

Raiders Looking to Steal a Win
-Colgate holds a 2-4 record, and are currently on a two-match losing streak. The Raiders fell 4-1 to Bucknell in their last match.
-The Raiders are looking for their first home victory of the season and are winless in three tries so far.
-The Bearcats have a 5-5 record against Colgate in their all-time matchups.
