- Binghamton (4-4-, 1-4 AE) split a four-game series at home against Albany last weekend. After dropping the first two games on Saturday 11-2 and 6-2, the Bearcats rebounded to record a 4-2, 3-2 sweep on Sunday. Sophomore pinch hitter

Hannah Lyons drove in a pair of runs during the doubleheader.
- UMBC (11-5, 0-0 AE) last played on April 2 when it split a doubleheader against Villanova, losing 12-2 before bouncing back to win the nightcap 5-2. Courtney Coppersmith struck out 13 batters to record the complete-game victory in the second game.
Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 32-19. In 2019, however, the Retrievers took two of out of three games in Baltimore (March 30-31).

Sara Herskowitz has reached base safely in all eight games this season. She is batting .297, is tied for the team lead with four runs scored and has driven in three runs.

Sophia Pappas is tied for No. 36 in the nation with 1.17 RBI per game. In six games so far this season, she has driven in a team-best seven runs.

Rayn Gibson is seven Ks away from becoming just the eighth pitcher in Binghamton to reach the 300-strikeout mark for her career.
