VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton women's basketball team defeated Roberts Wesleyan 72-67 in an exhibition game on Friday night at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center. The game was the Bearcats' first and only preseason contest before they open up the regular season on Monday when they host Bloomsburg at 5:30 p.m.
Sophomore forward
Genevieve Coleman led all scorers with 22 points and added 10 rebounds. Also reaching double figures in scoring with 11 points was redshirt freshman guard
Jadyn Weltz, who also dished out eight assists.
Roberts Weselyan had three players reach double figures in scoring. Georgia Haverlock finished with 18 points, followed by Danielle DiCintio (16 points) and Grace Galgano (11 points.).
